Apartment life in Bryn Mawr
Bryn Mawr, population about 9,000, is an older
suburban community along Philadelphias Main Line. Known
for its mansions and historic properties, Bryn Mawr straddles
three different townships including Haverford, Lower Merion,
and Radnor and two counties (Delaware and Montgomery). The
town center, located along Lancaster Pike (Route 30), offers
residents a variety of restaurants, coffee bars, bookstores,
retail and second-hand shops, and entertainment and cultural
venues. Bryn Mawr is a college town and home to some of the
best public and private schools in the area. Commuter rail,
high speed trolley, and bus service, and proximity to routes
30, 476 (Blue Route), and City Line Avenue make the town an
easy commute to the rest of the region as well. Rental properties
include complexes, apartments in converted homes, and smaller
apartment houses.
